Dental Implant

A dental implant is a type of denture which used to support one or more teeth. It is a titanium screw that can replace the root of a tooth and placed into the jawbone.

Implant is a safe, well-established treatment. It’s probably a fact to say that implant, much like natural tooth, it will last for as long as you care for it. Survival age of dental implant depends on how well you look after your implant and whether you go for your regular maintenance appointment at our clinic.

There are several type of dental implants depending on space in your jaw:

1. Single implant

If you are missing a single tooth, one implant and a crown can replace it. A dental implant replaces both the lost natural tooth and its root.

2. Bridge implant

If you are missing more than a single tooth, a bridge implant is one of the best fixed dentures.

3. Implant supported denture

If you have no more tooth in a jaw (upper and or lower), the implant supported denture is the most recommended treatment for you. Usually our surgeon plans to perform minimum 4 – 8 dental implants placement to keep your denture stable in your jaw.
